Veronica couldn't believe it!  She'd only been in the chorus line a few weeks, and suddenly the show's diva had quit, and they'd picked her to become the new star of the revue! She called all her friends to pass along the good news.  But then the theater owner showed up to explain the price she would have to pay for stardom.
